S2E13 – Modes of Sentience Part 3 – Psychedelic Philosophy

In this episode Chris tackles chapters 4 and 5 of Peter Sjostedt-Hughes’ Modes of Sentience. Dr. Sjostedt-Hughes gives me a run for my money in describing the mystic experience and in highlighting its influence on Western philosophy. We talk Plato on acid, turn-of-the-century scientists huffing nitrous oxide and Nietzsche writing letters under the pseudonym Dionysus.

Enjoy 😉
